Having a baby boy is a life-changing event and when it happens, you will definitely want to let everyone know about. The Dawn Kempf-developed app ItsABoy! aims to help you out in this regard. It is an easy to use birth announcement app that allows you to come up with a personalized card and let your family and friends know you are the proud parent of a baby boy.

Using the app is an incredibly straightforward process – which is a good think, because the last thing you want to do when trying to announce your baby boy’s birth is mess around with a difficult to use app. Here is what you have to do:
- Select one of the many, many backgrounds the app puts at your disposal.
- Then you have to provide a bit of info on the baby: name, date and time of birth, weight and length ad birth.
- Select a caption from the available options.
- Select the baby’s picture if you already have one on your device, or take a picture right then.
- Select the people you would like to card to be sent to.

The explanation may seem a bit long, but trust me, it’s incredibly easy to use this application. No one, not event the greenest of novices will have a problem getting accustomed to the ItsABoy! app.

The app is available for purchase from the App Store at the price of $0.99 – which is a lot cheaper than buying a whole bunch of traditional cards and sending them out by snail mail.
